Swami Nithyananda will speak soon.” On Nithyananda’s whereabouts, Sachidananda told mediapersons that the swami was attending the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar.

Refuting the allegations of shady goings-on inside the ashram, Sachidananda said: “There are unsubstantial claims about the death of Melvin Diamond, who was a Yoga professor in the ashram. Melvin had died by falling off the parapet wall, it was not suicide, as claimed in many websites. Allegations of volunteers being held against their will are false.” On how the video was shot, Sachidananda said: “We are told that the video was made using an camers that was embedded in an air purifier. The camera was connected to a satellite communication device.” He said it was hard to believe that video was shot by the former devotee who has claimed do so, a he had not even studies till XIIth grade.

The volunteers confirmed that Tamil actress Ranjitha was a regular devotee who used to visit the ashram till seven months back.
